Shibori
2011-2012
Shibori is a Japanese term for several methods of dyeing cloth with a pattern.
Itajime Shibori is a shaped-resist technique where the cloth is sandwiched between two pieces of wood and holding the shape with C-clamps or string. The shapes prevent dye from penetrating the fabric they cover.
